Practical, Hands-On Training
You don’t need to be a qualified electrician to carry out PAT Testing – nor do you need a detailed understanding of electrical theory. We start right at the beginning and give you all the knowledge and skill that you need, without getting bogged down in irrelevant theory.
Our PAT Testing Courses are designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge needed for electrical safety testing. The training includes a mix of theory, demonstrations and hands-on practical sessions, ensuring a thorough understanding of PAT testing procedures. We keep the theory to a minimum – telling you what you need to know but not getting bogged down with boring unnecessary detail. Do you really need to know the intricate details of the Electricity and Work Regulations, or do you need to know what the law actually requires of you, and how best to achieve it!
The course is based on the latest information out there – not just the IET Code of Practice but also the new British Standards, and the latest information from HSE and other bodies. But again, we’re not getting bogged down in the details, we’re keeping it real!
Everyone who attends our course is given a pack of information, including a colour handbook and guide to PAT Testing. You won’t need to spend money buying additional expensive text books, unless you want to!
